I'm upgrading to a transmitter with a couple more channels for my jets so I'm seeing if there's any interest in buying my Futaba 10C transmitter.

Is the link to the Tower Hobbies page for more information & a video.

It's the transmitter I'm currently using on my Habu, large scale Edge 540 & BVM F-86 Sabre. Of course it works perfectly. It has the original packaging, manual and charger. It's a 2.4 ghz module model so it can be used on 36 mhz as well with an appropriate module. It came in to Australia via the local distributor & is 'C' tick approved.

Before you ask, yes the non-genuine Hobby King recievers are available to suit. This is a very sophisticated transmitter which uses the Futaba FASST 2.4 frequency hopping system, not Spektrum. It's on mode 1.

I'm asking $300, just reply on this thread if you are interested. - John.

My old Blu-Baby is taking up valuable space and it's time for it to move on. I want to swap this for a six-pack of 500ml Oettinger cans.

The plane was made by yours truly off a plan obtained from RCGroups (there was a build-thread somewhere amongst the forums). I learned to fly with it and can recommend it as a very veryeasy to fly trainer. It's had its share of dings with most of these still evident, but still does the business. It comes with everything except a motor (a Park 480, Turnigy 3530C or equivalent will do it) and receiver - I will throw in the rubber bands, and two or three puffy old 2200mAh batteries and there's a Parkzone 18A ESC still in there.

See me at the field some time if you're interested - you bring the beer and you get the plane, quite simple.

I have finally organised myself to get a sim and started to play with it. I have three main questions.

1. So far I am having difficulty landing. This difficulty comes in two parts. First I have so far been completely unable to line up the approach correctly - I seem to be about 2 to 3 landing strips too far away. Any suggestions how can I line up better?

2. When landing itself I am landing fairly hard and bouncing back up a bit. Is that too much speed coming in, too hard a drop or a mix of both?

3. Assuming I can fix both of those and take off, loop around and land smoothly is that the point where I am ready for a trainer (I am looking at the T-28)?

Also 1000x700mm $20.
Its pickup at Mccoy late Saturday mornings.
